Hunza Valley in Gilgit-Baltistan is one of the most breathtaking places on Earth. Surrounded by 7,000m+ peaks including Rakaposhi and Ultar Sar, the valley offers turquoise Attabad Lake, ancient Baltit and Altit forts, and the Khunjerab Pass to China — the world's highest paved border crossing.
This 7-night tour is fully escorted with an experienced local guide and runs in comfortable 4x4 vehicles on the Karakoram Highway.

Depart Islamabad by AC coaster at 6am. Drive along the Karakoram Highway. Overnight in Besham or Chilas.

Besham to Gilgit
Continue KKH through Kohistan. Pass through Nanga Parbat viewpoint. Arrive Gilgit. Overnight.

Gilgit to Hunza (Karimabad)
Drive to Karimabad, Hunza. En route: Rakaposhi viewpoint. Arrive, check in. Evening: explore Karimabad bazaar.

Attabad Lake & Gojal
Morning boat ride on Attabad Lake. Drive through Gojal Valley to Passu — the Passu Cones viewpoint. Return to Karimabad.

Full day excursion to Khunjerab Pass (4,693m). Stop at Sost border town. Yak spotting in the national park. Return to Karimabad.

Morning: Baltit Fort tour (750-year-old). Afternoon: Altit Fort. Evening: Eagle's Nest sunset viewpoint (highest point in Karimabad).

Relax in Hunza. Local apricot farm visit. Afternoon drive back to Gilgit.

The Karakoram Highway (KKH) is a well-maintained road. Our drivers are experienced on mountain roads. CCTV and army checkposts operate throughout. We have run this route safely for over 10 years.
April–May for cherry blossoms. June–September for trekking season. October for autumn foliage. The route is closed in winter (November–March). We recommend June–August for best weather.
Pakistani nationals do not require a special NOC to visit Khunjerab Pass. Your CNIC is sufficient. Foreign nationals may require an NOC — contact us for details.
